Rugby Town secured their Northern Premier League status in style on the final day with victory at Boldmere St Michaels.
Loyiso Recci's coolly-taken penalty gave Valley an early lead after Mike Taylor had been brought down in the area by Boldmere goalkeeper Kieran Boucher.
MJ Semahimbo and Taylor came close to doubling the lead in a first half which Rugby probably edged.
But with relegation rivals AFC Rushden and Diamonds also leading at Walsall Wood, Rugby knew they were only a single goal away from disaster as Boldmere applied a lot more pressure in a nervy second half.
But the nerves were replaced by joy among the traveling faithful when Theo Rowe collected substitute Silvano Obeng's pass before cutting in off the left and curling a powerful shot into the corner of the net from just inside the box.
And any remaining unease was completely quashed in stoppage time when Ryan Sahota arrowed a low shot into the net from the edge of the box via the post.
