Two
more new faces have been
added to the Rugby Town
squad who are quickly
progressing through their
pre-season schedule.
Derby-born
James Rowe has signed
a contract with Valley
after weighing up his
options and the striker
is also joined by midfielder
Danny Williams, brother
of Simeon.
Rowe
is a young and highly-rated
striker or wide player
who started his career
with Ilkeston Town before
moving to Histon in 2002.
Here, he made a huge impact
as an 18-year-old forward
scoring over 30 goals
for Stutes. However,
a serious knee injury
scuppered Rowe's progress
who was being touted by
many league clubs at the
time. Spells at
Heybridge Swifts and Stamford
failed to see James return
to his true form of old
before joining Grantham
Town.
Danny
signed for the club last
week and will join up
with brother Simeon who
has already signed on.
Williams is a left-sided
or central midfield player
who likes to go forward
and has had a previous
spell with Evesham United. |
