Rugby
manager Billy Jeffrey has added six
more players to his squad for the
upcoming 2007/8 BGB Premier season.
Club
Captain Craig Herbert, who has made
over 190 league appearances for Valley,
has committed to the club along with
fellow defender Andy Commander who
returned from a knee ligament injury
last season.
Billy
has also signed midfielder Scott Musgrove
after impressing in the pre-season
friendlies. The 21-year-old midfielder
began his career as a trainee before
moving onto Cheltenham Town. He signed
for Stamford at the start of last
season and also turned out for Corby
last term.
Hard-working
midfielder Tom Breward has also signed
for the new season while youth player
Mark Edge has earned himself a 2 year
contract with Rugby.
Billy
has also moved to sign triallist Stefan
McGrath - a former Nuneaton Borough
youth player. McGrath can operate
either at left-back or on the left
hand side of midfield.
Jeffrey
will now be looking to tie up the
remainder of his squad over the next
few weeks before the new season starts
on 18th August.
