Rugby
Town have added experienced midfielder
David Staff to their 07/08 squad for
the coming BGB Premier Division season.
David
made his first pre-season appearance
for Rugby in the 3-1 win against Wellinborough
last night (Monday).
The
28-year-old midfielder joined on a
short-term loan from Nuneaton Borough
in March 2007 and made an immediate
impact with a Star Man performance
in his debut against Yate Town.
A
versatile attacking midfielder, David
has an excellent pedigree in non-league
football and has also appeared in
the Football League for Boston United.
He also played under Billy Jeffrey
at Stamford before securing a move
to Boston and has also played for
King's Lynn and Cambridge City.
Meanwhile,
manager Billy Jeffrey has also captured
the services of left-sided player
Stefan Morley who has impressed during
the pre-season friendlies.
Stefan
has been playing left back during
the friendlies and spent last season
with Kettering Town.
