Valley have been in good form in the past six league games which have included four wins, the latest of which a 1-0 victory over Swindon Supermarine last weekend.

However, Rugby have been disrupted with injury and suspesion leaving manager Billy Jeffrey with few options.

Delroy Gordon is still a week or so from full fitness after having a cist removed from his knee only a week ago while midfielder Scott Musgrove is struggling with an ankle injury and will also miss out.

Meanwhile, Leigh Platnauer, who incurred a red card in the last outing against Swindon is a doubt as is versatile defender Ashley Blake.

Both players picked up niggling injuries during the week while striker David Kolodynski will begin his three-match suspension after the sending off against Tiverton two weeks ago.

Cirencester have yet to record a victory from their eight league games this season, and they only escaped relegation at the end of the last campaign as a result of the demise of clubs in other leagues after they themselves finished second bottom - a position they occupy this time round too.

Rugby's record against this Saturday's opponents Cirencester was poor in 2006-07, with the Centurions doing the double over Valley, 3-1 and 2-1 at home and away respectively. They are now managed by the ex-Reading and Swindon defender Adi Viveash, following the resignation of the previous incumbent Neil Hards at the end of a troublesome last season.

Rugby Town Squad From: Simon Lynn, Alessandro Barcherini, Aaron Stringfellow, Brad Harris, Craig Herbert, Stefan Morley, Leigh Platnauer, Ashley Blake, Stefan McGrath, Mark Edge, David Staff, Tom Breward, David Stone, Akin Aladetoun.
