Rugby Town travel to bottom side Cheshunt this weekend and will hope to be boosted by the return of influential centre back Delroy Gordon.

Gordon was a scorer in the 3-2 win over Cheshunt in the corresponding fixture two seasons ago but the 22-year-old has been out for the last five games following a knee operation.

Delroy was an unused substitute at Hitchin on Tuesday but Rugby manager Billy Jeffrey is expected to welcome Gordon back to the starting XI, espcially given Leigh Platnauer's suspension.

18-year-old forward David Kolodynski serves the final game of his 3-match suspension.

Another possible returnee on Saturday is Scott Musgrove, who has missed the last four games with an ankle injury.

Despite their 3-0 home success over Swindon Supermarine last Saturday, the Ambers are still firmly rooted to the foot of the table, with just six points from ten games, and manager Tom Loizou will be looking for a repeat of the corresponding fixture last season, which saw the Valley lose out by two goals to one.

That result helped Cheshunt finish in 16th - one place above Town - at the end of the 2006-07 campaign, although the two teams were only separated by goal difference.

Saturday's match will kick-off slightly earlier than normal at 1 pm, to allow fans to watch the England-Estonia European Championship Qualifying game later in the afternoon.
