Rugby
Town have begun their search for a
new first team manager this week after
Billy Jeffrey's resignation on Tuesday.
The
Rugby Board of Directors have set
about the task of identifying a new
manager to take the club forward.
Valley
chairman Brian Melvin has set no time
scale on the appointment: "The
club has already had numerous enquiries
and initial applications and we are
currently sorting through these.
"It
is a time consuming process and we
are not going to rush into appointing
a new manager. We will sit down with
potential candidates and try to get
the best man for the job.
"The
board is confident that [Club Captain]
Craig [Herbert] can manage the team
in the interim period and leave the
new manager with a good platform to
build from."
