Last
Saturday's 2-1 win over Cirencester
Town lifted Rugby to 14th place in
the table and eight points from the
automatic relegation places.
Hitchin
currently lie second-bottom of the
table nine points behind Valley, albeit
with three games in hand, making today's
game vital.
Rugby's
record against the Canaries is fairly
good, being unbeaten in the last three
and so far undefeated at Butlin Road
with four wins our of five.
Valley
drew a blank at Top Field in October
in a goalless draw. The corresponding
game at Butlin Road last season also
ended goalless.
Rugby
hope to field the same goalkeeper
in successive games for the first
time in eight matches with Richard
Anstiss continuing between the sticks.
Manager
Rod Brown will be without duo Stephan
Morley and Tom Breward but the Rugby
boss has moved quickly to bring in
defender Richard Evans from Redditch
United and central midfielder Neil
King from Woodford United.
