Valley's
league record has been very poor in
recent weeks, with six defeats out
of the last seven including two humiliating
home defeats to Hitchin Town and Gloucester
City in the last two games, conceding
seven goals in the process.
Rugby
did, however, record a victory in
their last away game against Cirencester
Town when David Stone and Scott Musgrove
were on target to come from behind.
The
Bluebirds lie fourth in the BGB Premier,
well safe within the top play-off
zone and just four points behind TeamBath
on top of the table.
Chippenham
have already tasted victory against
Valley this season when Kevin Halliday's
first half strike was enough to secure
a win at Butlin Road in November.
In
their seven meetings against Chippenham,
Rugby have managed only a solitary
win which came in the corresponding
fixture last season at Hardenhuish
Park. Goals from Jason Taylor, Danny
Hall and Delroy Gordon sealed victory
for Rugby.
Manager
Rod Brown will hope to have the services
of Scott Musgrove back after missing
the defeat to Gloucester City on Tuesday.
