Rugby
manager Rod Brown has decided to released
midfielder Willis Francis from the
club.
The
tough-tackling midfielder has failed
to nail down a regular first team
slot and Rod made the decision in
the interests of both parties.
Rod
said: "Willis didn't really feature
in my plans and we have agreed that
it is best that he looks for another
club."
Francis
first joined the club from Grantham
Town in 2005 and made 70 appearances
for Rugby during his two spells with
the club, having already left the
club earlier in the season to join
Glapwell.
Meanwhile,
the club has
taken on Coventry City FC youngster
Kieran Fitzharris on a work experience
basis.
Kieran
is a 2nd Year Academy player at Coventry,
and can play in a number of positions
across the midfield.
Rod
commented: "He isn't the biggest
lad in the world, but has shown so
far in training that he has very quick
feet.
"We
will take another look at him in training
this week and then take it from there."
