Rugby
Town have signed defender Rob Oddy
on loan from Nuneaton Borough in time
for tomorrow's clash with Mangotsfield
United.
After
a string of poor results, Rugby boss
Rod Brown has moved to strengthen
his side and sees Rob as a good addtion
to the squad.
The
22-year-old right back started his
career with local rivals Bedworth
United before being spotted by Coventry
City. After failing to make the grade
for the Sky Blues, he was snapped
up by Nuneaton in 2004 and made the
full back position his own.
Rob
has struggled to hold down a regular
starting place for Boro this season,
making only 11 appearances meaning
he was made available for a loan deal
to Butlin Road.
The
Coventry-born defender has made over
150 appearances for Nuneaton including
the draw at home to Premier League
side Middlesbrough in the FA Cup Third
Round in 2006.
Rob
is expected to make his debut against
Mangotsfield United tomorrow.
