Last weekend's 4-0 win over Yate Town at Butlin Road has given Valley a fighting chance to avoid relegation with five points seperating them from the drop zone going into the final two games.

Bedford Town and Bromsgrove Rovers currently occupy the two remaining relegation spaces, given Cheshunt and Cirencester's demotion already.

Bedford host fellow struggles Corby Town while Bromsgrove are at home to 2nd-placed TeamBath.

If either Bedford or Bromsgrove fail to win either of their final games then they cannot possibly catch Rugby, but Valley know that a win this afternoon will make it certain whatever their rivals results are.

Rugby's opponents Brackley won promotion to the BGB Premier last season by winning the BGB Midland and made an excellent start to the season, leading the table for the first 10 games.

However, a run of poor form over the turn of the year saw the Saints fall away from not only title hopes but also any play-off hopes have now been extinguished.

Having spent most of their 100 year history in the Oxfordshire Senior League, Brackley have only met Rugby three times with Valley not gaining a win so far.

The reverse meeting this season at Butlin Road in August ended as a 2-1 win for Brackley with Valley falling to a last-minute goal.

Rugby boss Rod Brown should have a full squad to choose from with only captain Craig Herbert a slight doubt with a hamstring strain.

Rugby Town Squad From: Richard Anstiss, Rob Oddy, Stephan Morley, Craig Herbert, Delroy Gordon, Richard Scott, Neil King, Tom Breward, Kieran Fitzharris, Mark Edge, Scott Musgrove, Cameron Jones, David Staff, David Kolodynski, David Stone, Dave Pearson, Rorey Curtis.
