David
Staff and Scott Musgrove have both
left Rugby Town following talks with
manager Rod Brown.
The midfield pair were signed by former
manager Billy Jeffrey and Rod inherited
both players for the end of the 2007/8
season.
Staff
leaves the club to join BGB Premier
rivals Brackley Town while Musgrove
has been released.
28-year-old
Staff, who operates down both flanks,
joined Rugby in March 2008 and impressed
with his performances from the start
to steer Valley to safety in the 06/07
season.
David
made 34 league starts last season
and scored 6 goals including memorable
strikes against Gloucester City (a),
Corby Town (a) and Yate Town (a).
Musgrove,
who will be 21 next month, has been
deemed surplus to requirements at
Butlin Road after a decent season
for the central midfielder who netted
5 times in his 33 league appearances.
Scott
joined as a free agent after spells
with Grantham Town, Corby Town, Stamford
and Cirencester Town.
