Striker
Daren Dykes has left Rugby Town to
join BGB Premier Division rivals Halesowen
Town.
Halesowen
held off competition from Brackley
Town to sign Dykes after both clubs
put in a seven-day approach for the
forward last week.
Dykes
was thought to be staying with Rugby
for the next couple of weeks to play
in the FA Cup against Long Eaton on
Saturday but he has now signed for
Halesowen in time for their GX Cup
game against Sutton Coldfield this
evening.
Daren
signed for Rugby in July from Stony
Stratford but played only five league
games for Valley without a goal. He
did score two goals in the FA Cup
tie against Friar Lane & Epworth
before his final game in the 3-2 defeat
to Oxford City.
All
at the club would like to wish Daren
all the best for the future and thank
him for his efforts at the club.
