After
collecting five points from the last
three games, Valley have lifted themselves
out of the bottom four for the first
time since August and now travel to
fellow strugglers Mangotsfield.
The
Mangoes have lost their last five
league games and have picked up just
one point in their last seven games.
Their
last victory came at the start of
November with a 2-1 win over Hitchin
at Cossham Street.
The
recent slump has seen Mangotsfield
descend the table and now lie just
one point above Valley having played
one extra game.
Valley's
1-0
win against Mangotsfield
at Butlin Road last season in March
triggered a impressive end to the
season for Rugby which culminated
in BGB Premier safety.
The
corresponding fixture in Cossham Street
last season ended in a 0-0
draw.
Rugby
will be looking to repeat one of their
impressive results away to Mangotsfield
from recent years including a 3-0
win in 2003 and a memorable 3-1
win in 2005.
Tony
Dobson should welcome back captain
Craig Herbert to
the squad after missing three games
with a calf injury.
Striker
Daren Dykes could
return while Matt Gearing
and Kieran Fitzharris
should be fully fit after recovering
from illness.
The
only casualty is striker Dave
Pearson who is suffering
from a recurring hamstring problem.
