Rugby
face local rivals Corby just 48 hours
after the last-gasp draw at Chippenham
on Saturday knowing another result
could be crucial in avoiding relegation.
The
Steelmen have been on overdrive since
the beginning of 2009, which they
started with a 2-0
win over Valley
at the Rockingham Triangle.
The
result on the day was particularly
harsh on Valley who probably did enough
to win the game without finding the
net but since then Corby have kicked
on and now lie just one point behind
league leaders Farnborough.
Automatic
promotion is still very much on the
cards for Corby, as is Rugby's relegation
battle with Valley just three points
outside the drop zone.
Corby
were active just before the transfer
deadline in March to bring in a few
expeienced faces including ex-Nottingham
Forest striker Jason Lee.
Rugby
manager Tony Dobson will be hoping
for no new injury worries ahead of
the Corby clash with David
Staff in particular a doubt
after being forced off through injury
on Saturday.
Delroy
Gordon and Matt Gearing
will hope to shake off knocks picked
up against Chippenahm while Rugby
could welcome back Tom Breward
and Liam Nicell to
fitness.
