The
first official TFL Tournament was
held on Sunday 17th May 2009 and was
a great day for all despite the changing
weather conditions!

TFL Tournament and the £200
cash prize |

teams teams entered the tournament
but the winners were Northamptionshire
based side Pimp FC
who defeated current TFL Sunday Champions
Rokeby Ultimates in the final 1-0.
Pimp
collected the £200 cash prize
for winning the tournament despite
a slow group stage in which they lost
their opening game and then only just
qualified on goal difference at the
expense of TFL old-timers Hit Or Misfits.
Rokeby
won Group C ahead of eventual winners
Pimp but claimed the consolation £100
prize for being the beaten finalists.
The
next tournament will be in September
2009 again on a Sunday so look out
for that to register your team!
