Rugby Town will play host to UniBond Premier side King's Lynn on Saturday 8th August 2009 in their final pre-season friendly.

	Rugby were facing King's Lynn on a regular basis until the Linnets' promotion from the Zamaretto Premier in 2008

The game at Butlin Road, 3pm kick-off, will finish off Rugby's pre-season schedule ahead of the new Zamaretto League Premier Division season which starts a week later away to Swindon Supermarine.

King's Lynn were demoted back to step 3 in the non-league pyramid at the end of last season despite a mid-table finish in the Blue Square North.

Ground grading issues have meant that the Linnets could not hold onto their status and they have been relegated into the Northern Premier - the equivalent to Rugby in the Southern Premier.

The Linnets were due to travel to Halesowen Town on 8th August but due to the ongoing problems at The Grove, Lynn have been forced to switch opponents for their pre-season game.
