The
Valley faithful will be hoping that
the encouraging performance in the
0-0
draw at Butlin Road against Chippenham
can be followed up against Oxford
tonight.
Oxford,
like Rugby, have had a poor start
to the season and have lost in all
three of their encounters with manager
Justin Merritt resigning just two
games into the season.
Last
season, in one of the first games
of Dobson's reign, Valley lost
3-2 at Court Place Farm - Craig
Herbert and Neil King were on target
for Rugby.
City
had a similarly poor start to last
season but recovered to mount a genuine
play-off charge but narrowly lost
out.
Rugby
could be without goalkeeper Andy Stevens
who has an arm injury meaning Dan
Bell could deputised.
Meanwhile,
defender Andy Commander is expected
to continue in defence after a good
performance against Chippenham.
Valley
squad from: Andy Stevens,
Dan Bell; Liam Nicell, Harry Donaghey,
Craig Herbert, Delroy Gordon, Sean
Castleton, Andy Commander; Matt Gearing,
Allando Davis, David Staff, Ben Twigger,
Steve Purton, Neil Melvin; Josh Thompson,
Jason Ramsay, David Kolodynski.
