Rugby
have endured a terrible start to the
season having picked up just a single
point from the opening four games
- a repeat of last season's return.
Valley
have also found the net just twice
whilst conceding twelve goals in the
process.
Saturday's
opponents Tiverton have only performed
marginally better. They too are without
a win but have collected two draws.
Current
form dictates that this weekend's
meeting is unlikely to be a goalfest
with only newly-promoted Didcot Town
having scored fewer goals than Rugby
or Tiverton.
Valley
boss Tony Dobson will take heart from
the performances last season against
Tiverton as Rugby won both league
encounters including a 1-0
win at Ladysmead in November.
Rugby
are still without the services of
goalkeeper Andy Stevens who is struggling
with an arm injury so Dan Bell will
continue in goal.
Defender
Andy Commander, who was dismissed
in midweek, is also unavailable while
midfielder Neil Melvin is out with
a hamstring injury picked up against
Oxford.
Valley
squad from: Dan Bell; Liam
Nicell, Harry Donaghey, Craig Herbert,
Delroy Gordon, Sean Castleton; Matt
Gearing, Allando Davis, David Staff,
Ben Twigger, Steve Purton; Josh Thompson,
Jason Ramsay, David Kolodynski.
