Combination side Cadbury Athletic

The
first warm-up game of the pre-season
gave Martin the chance to piece togther
his new-look squad ahead of the Zamaretto
Division One Central season.
Sockett
gave a run out to 21 players and took
the lead early on through striker
Gokan Ulker's effort.
Cadbury
levelled midway through the first
half with a tremendous long range
effort which flew past goalkeeper
Rob Webb.
The
visitors then took the lead following
up on another effort from distance
which Webb had parried before Seb
Hamilton powered his way through to
equalise after the break.
Cadbury
found themselves in front for the
second time with a close range effort
before substitute Paddy Connolly showed
good composure to finish from inside
the area to level things up once more.
Midfielder
Ben Steane was missing from the game
but it is hoped he will feature on
Saturday when Valley host Massey Ferguson
on the astroturf facility at 3pm -
again supporters are free to come
and watch.
The
game was the first of four warm-up
games on the astroturf facility with
the first home game against Tamworth
