New Rugby Town boss Dave Stringer has set about building his squad for the coming season by signing on the majority of last season's squad.

No fewer than thirteen of last season's squad, who finished 6th in the Evo-Stik League Southern Division One Central, have committed their future to Butlin Road for the 2011/12 season.

Goalkeeper Dave Clarke and defenders Gary Moran, Danny Hall, Niki Preston, Melvin Gourlay, Craig Goodbody have all signed along with midfielders Richard Wesley, Andy Gundelach, Paddy Connolly, Ben Steane and strikers Claudiu Hoban, Seb Hamilton and Tyrone Fagan.

The only departures from the club from last season's squad are Nick Heath and Leon Simpson.

Meanwhile Stringer is looking at a number of trialists including ex-Bedworth defender Dominic Reece and Northampton Spencer goalkeeper Pete Smith as well as the familiar face Craig Civzelis.
