The
news has shocked and deeply saddened
everyone that knew Carl and his passing
will undoubtedly be a huge loss to
the football club and all of those
who knew him.
Carl's
love for the football club was plain
for all to see and everyone will have
their open special memories of Carl.
Carl
was a lifelong fan of the Valley and
Manchester United and was always around
the club at Butlin Road, helping out
in whatever way he could.
For
the past six years, Carl had been
heavily involved in looking after
the first team's management team and
players.
Carl
worked closely supporting managers
such as Billy Jeffrey, Tony Dobson,
Martin Sockett and current boss Dave
Stringer offering them much needed
backroom help as well as travelling
to the away games.
Valley's
fans as well as former players and
managers have led the tributes for
Carl on social networking sites and
on the fan's discussion board.
Our
thoughts are now with Carl's family.
The
funeral will take place at St John's
Church in Hillmorton on Wednesday
3rd August 2011 at 11.15am followed
by Oakley Wood Crematorium, Bishop’s
Tachbrook, Leamington with
the wake at Hillmorton Ex Servicemen’s
Club, Rugby.
