The trip to Beaconsfield represents Valley's first taste of league action since the 1-0 win over Barton Rovers over a month ago.
Since then Valley have played in five cup ties and boss Dave Stringer will be glad to return to the league campaign.
23-year-old striker Kolodynski scored 44 league goals in his first spell with the club after progressing through the youth ranks before making his debut in 2006.
Since leaving Rugby in 2010, David has played for Cambridge City, Hinckley, Leamington and most recently Bedworth.
Valley have also signed another former player Sam Youngs who played 30 games for the club in the 2009/10 season.
In other player news, Rugby are hoping to welcome back Mason Rowley and Tyrone Fagan who missed the last two games after clashing heads in the warm-up before the Stafford home game.
Midfielder Richard Blythe will return to be available while winger Michael Williams will hope to shrug off an ankle injury having now served his suspension.
