Rugby Town will host Norton United in the FA Cup with Budweiser Preliminary Round.
Norton came through their Extra Preliminary tie at home to Southam United yesterday with consumate ease, recording a 7-1 win to set up a game at Butlin Road.

Norton United ply their trade in the North West Counties Premier Division (one step below Valley) and the two sides have never met previously.
Formed in 1989, Norton are from Stoke-on-Trent and came 14th last season in the North West Counties League Premier Division.
If Valley are successful they will face a trip to Nantwich Town of the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League in the First Qualifying Round.
Last year after overcoming Studley in the Preliminary Round, Rugby were knocked out in the First Qualifying Round by Bedworth United after extra time of a replay at The Oval after drawing at Butlin Road.
Rugby's best efforts in recent years have included forays as far as the Third Qualifying Round before suffering unfortunate defeats to Chelmsford City & most recently Bishop's Stortford in 2008.
Valley last reached the FA Cup First Round proper back in 1993-4 nearly 18 years ago while Rugby's best FA Cup record came in 1987-88 and 1992-93 when they reached the Second Round Proper. |
