Tributes have been paid to former Rugby Town player Parys Okai whose sudden death was reported last week.
The death of the 28-year-old, who also played for Luton Town, Cambridge United, Dunstable Town, Kettering Town, St Neots Town, Hitchin Town and most recently Australian side Northcote City FC, has shocked his family, friends and former colleagues.
Hull City and ex-Luton player Curtis Davies tweeted : “RIP Parys Okai, gone far too soon bro! My thoughts go out to his family and friends”, while former Luton captain Keith Keane added: “RIP Parys Okai, prayers and thoughts are with his family at such a sad time.”

Parys was taken to hospital after police were called to the Outbreak music event at the O2 Academy in Leicester on Sunday, October 27.
However, the condition of the former St Neots player deteriorated and he died on Wednesday, October 30.
Parys signed for Rugby after being released by Kettering Town in March 2007 and marked his debut for Valley with the winning goal in a 3-2 win against Yate.
Okai operated primarly as a left full-back but also played as in central midfielder in his nine appearances for Valley.
