Clews Recycling were the first winners of newly-launched Rugby Town’s Goalden Goal initiative for local businesses, as a result of an 11th minute strike by Bedford’s Tom Liversedge in the recent Butlin Road game between the two clubs.
Richard Clews accepted a cash prize and two complimentary match tickets after his designated number matched the time of the opening goal in Town’s first home game of the season on Tuesday 12th of August.
The club have now extended the deadline for entry into the Goalden Goal scheme to September 8th, and any interested parties should contact Tom Crinigan on 07865 094 814 or e-mail goalden.goal.rtfc@gmail.com for further details. |
