Valley were comfortable victors against Midland League Premier Division side Continental Star on a wet 3G astro pitch at Butlin Road.
There were hat-tricks apiece for David Kolodynski and triallist Will Muzuimbiri while manager Gary Mills also got on the scoresheet during his second half appearance.
Birmingham based Continental Star, who play one step below Rugby, made the trip to Butlin Road for Rugby's second practice match on the Butlin Road 3G astro pitch.
With Craig Kelly missing with blisters and new midfielder Steve Towers unavailable, manager Mills again used the game to trial a number of players.
Kolodynski opened the scoring when he took advantage of a misjudgment by the Continental goalkeeper to roll into an empty net after Mason Rowley's long pass before a similar situation moments later allowed Muzuimbiri to tap home from Kolodynski's pass.
Muzuimbiri finished off triallist Brendan Murphy's cross before then conceding a penalty with a rash tackle which was converted by the visitors.
Kolodynski convered a penalty before half time when Muzuimbiri was held in the box before an eventful first half was finished off with a Contintental Star goal, headed in from a corner.
Mills' neat pass set up Kolodynski for his hat-trick just after the break before the manager got on the scoresheet himself heading home from a corner
Substitute Callum Powell then set up Muzuimbiri for his hat-trick before netting himself moments later to complete the scoring.
