Northampton Town youth duo Danny Clifton and Sam Warburton have signed for Rugby on a one-month loan deal.
The highly rated pair have featured a couple of times for Rugby in pre-season and Gary Mills has moved to secure the pair on a short term deal.
Both players will join up with the squad in time for tomorrow's first league game of the season at Loughborough Dynamo.
Both midfielder Clifton, 18, and left back Warburton, also 18, are first year professionals who feature for the Cobblers U21 side and have been given squad numbers for Northampton without making a first team appearance.
Meanwhile goalkeeper Neil Collett is expected to join Chasetown soon.
Chasetown, managed by ex-Rugby boss Dave Stringer, put in a seven-day approach last weekend for Collett who made eight appearances for Rugby last season after signing in December 2014. |
