Dave Stringer has continued his summer recruitment for the new season with agreements for three of his former Chasetown players.
After the club confirmed contract deals for top scorer David Kolodynski and returning goalkeeper Niall Cooper in the last week, boss Stringer has been busy at work and has agreed deals for midfielders James Dance and Josh Ruff as well as utility player Liam Holt.
James Dance, 30, has spent the last two seasons with Stringer at Chasetown and scored 11 goals in 49 appearances last season as their captain.
A former professional who featured in the National League for Luton Town, Nuneaton and Kidderminster between 2011 and 2013, Dance also lists Redditch, Rushall and Kettering among his former clubs.
Josh Ruff returns for his second spell at the club after a very short stint at Butlin Road as a youngster in 2012.
Last season the 25-year-old midfielder was almost ever present for Chasetown making 53 appearances scoring 8 goals.
Stringer had signed Ruff from Nuneaton Griff where he won the Midland Football League Division One Player of the Season in 2015/16.
Liam Holt spent the latter part of last season with Chasetown after a spell with Lichfield City.
The 25-year-old can operate in midfield or at full back lists Romulus, Stafford, Rocester and Gresley among his former clubs. |
