Valley boss Carl Adams has moved to secure five key members of last season's squad ahead of the new season.
With pre-season training now well underway and the first warm-up game upcoming on Saturday against Racing Club Warwick on the 3G astro five players from last season have committed themselves to the club for the upcoming United Counties League Premier Division campaign at Butlin Road.
Player/assistant Justin Marsden along with captain Loyiso Recci, Matt Hill, Lee Thomas and Charlie Evans are the first from last season's squad to commit for the new campaign.
35-year-old Marsden has now amassed over 200 league appearances for Rugby in three spells after making his debut in 2001 after progressing through the youth ranks at Butlin Road.

Forward Charlie Evans, 22, was the club's golden boot winner last season scoring 19 goals whilst also picking up the Players', Supporters' and Media Player of the Season awards.
Meanwhile 27-year-old left back Lee Thomas' season was ruined with injury after breaking his leg last October but he did make a return to first team action at the end of the season.
