Five More Agree Rugby Deals
Another five members of last season's squad have agreed to stay at Butlin Road for the new season.
Following the confirmation of a key quintet of last season's squad plus the new signing of defender Jamal Clarke, Liam Francis, Harry Holloway, Eli Bako, Daniel Kavanagh and Sam Lockley are the latest to agree deals for Carl Adams' men.
29-year-old defender Francis belated followed Adams from Stratford in October 2018 after a short spell with Redditch United and scored three goals in 27 league appearances.
Holloway, 22, is Valley's longest-serving player who will enter his fifth season with the first team squad after progressing through the youth ranks at Butlin Road.
After joining the club in March 2019 from Coventry United, 23-year-old Bako made a handful of appearances at the tail end of the season.
Right back Kavanagh, 22, started seven league games last season for Valley after joining in the summer from Bedworth United.
Meanwhile striker Lockley rejoins the squad after spending last season out on loan. After a spell with Long Buckby in the UCL Division One, Lockley then scored three goals in six matches for Coventry United last season
The 20-year-old striker burst into the first team in December 2017 scoring a debut winner and a hat-trick shortly afterwards before breaking his leg in March 2018.
