Year 11 Academy Trials
Rugby Town FC's Academy are running trials on 31 October 2019, 10am for our Fll Time Football Education BTEC programme ran from Butlin Road.
Are you a budding year 11 or year 12 student that would like to train and play for the towns senior semi-professional football club?
- The Rugby Town Academy of Football provides a proven route to our semi professional first team with our scholars making first team debuts.
- Experience regular sessions and tournament football at St George’s Park.
- Be uniquely coached by our ex professional playing coaching staff daily.
- Regular ex- professional and professional guest coach visits to the academy - our scholars have worked with ex England and Chelsea captain John Terry, Michael Dawson, Mile Jedinak, Albert Adomah and Stefan Moore
- Work Regularly with the FA and PFAs coach educators .
- All matches recorded via VEO camera
- Scholar weekly video analysis sessions
- Players training and match stats monitoring facility using PLAYRTEK performance analysis
- Regular opportunities to train and play at St George’s Park in regular tournament football and experience matches/sessions at Manchester United’s Carrington and The Cliff training grounds .
- Regular friendly fixtures against EFL clubs U21s and U23s via our coaching staffs links within the professional Game.
- With our links in the professional Game the opportunities of being offered trials with Premier League and EFL clubs as proven with one academy play fulfilling a dream move into the football league in the summer 19
- Gain recognised FA coaching qualifications
- We have a Proven record of platforms being provided for scholars to earn scholarships to the USA with several of our players last season alone embarking on their football/ education journey in the states.
- We are also very proud to have had our first INTERNATIONAL CALL UP
- Post season training camps in Europe
