MJ Semahimbo Signs Rugby Town Contract

Madundo 'MJ' Semahimbo is the latest player to agree a contract deal with Rugby Town until May 2023.

MJ joins the other eight recent contract signees Edwin Ahenkorah, Ash Bodycote, Caine Elliott, Luke English, Barry Fitzharris, David Kolodynski, Keenah Rosser and Dan Summerfield in agreeing to stay at Butlin Road for the 2022/23 season.

Semahimbo re-joined Valley in November 2021 from local divisional rivals Coventry Sphinx.

The 20-year-old forward is a product of the Rugby Town academy and after signing first team forms MJ was an unused substitute a few times before joining Sphinx.

After re-joining, Semahimbo scored his first goal for the club in December 2021 at Butlin Road against Easington Sports and has recently forced his way into the first team with some impressive performances.
