Captain Recci Pens New Deal
Rugby Town captain Loyiso Recci has committed to the club, penning a one-year deal at Butlin Road.
The 31-year-old defender was one of boss Carl Adams' first signings for the club back in 2018 and has captained the club in 123 appearances since, scoring 10 goals.
Loyiso agreed to join Rugby Town in May 2018 from Stratford Town, scoring on his Valley debut against Peterborough Northern Star and has been an integral part of the team ever since.
The Powerful centre-back scored two goals in 37 league appearances for Stratford in the Southern League Premier Division in the season before joining Rugby.
The defender helped Stratford to promotion from the Southern League Division One South & West in 2015 after a spell with Bedworth United.
Loyiso becomes the 13th contracted player for Rugby this season. |
