Pre-Season Friendlies 2024

Rugby Town have released their pre-season schedule ahead of the 2024/25 season.

Carl Adams' men will kick-off with a Butlin Road 3G game before successive away games, finishing the pre-season schedule with three home games before the start of the season in August.

Valley host former UCL Premier South rivals and FA Vase winners Newport Pagnell Town on the 3G pitch adjacent to the stadium at Butlin Road on 6th July.

More UCL Premier South await Valley the following Saturday as Lutterworth Town come to the Butlin Road 3G before a trip to newly-promoted Hinckley AFC who groundshare at Barwell.

Rugby then host Southern League Premier Central side Halesowen Town in our first home friendly on Saturday 20th July.

This preceeds another home match the following Tuesday against Aylestone Park who narrowly missed on on promotion to the NPL last season before finishing off with the visit of Southern League Division One Central side North Leigh.

The first competitive game of the season is likely to be in the FA Cup Extra Preliminary Round on Saturday 3rd August 2024.

Admission for the home friendlies will be £5 for adults and £3 for concessions - there will be no admission charge for any Butlin Road astroturf warm-up games.

Please note that although spectactors are free to come and watch the warm-up games on the 3G pitch, the bar and toilet facilities may not be open for these games.
