It's Trey-Day at Butlin Road
Forward Trey Charles has become Carl Adams' first summer signing.
Trey, who can operate through the middle or from the wing, has penned a one-year contract at Butlin Road.
The 30-year-old was most recently with previous division rivals Cambridge City after spells with Southern League Premier Central sides Stamford and Barwell last season.
Trey has a wealth of non-league experience with stellar seasons in Step Four with Kempston Rovers in 21/22 and St Neots Town in 22/23.
Aside from the recent spells with Stamford & Barwell, Charles has also featured in Step Three on a number of other occassions including for Hitchin Town between 2017-19 and Biggleswade Town between 2019-21.
Trey joins the current Valley crop which includes contracted players Chris Clements, Barry Fitzharris, David Kolodynski, Keenah Rosser, Ryan Sahota, MJ Semahimbo, Dan Summerfield and Josh Thomas along with Edwin Ahenkorah, Tom Bukowski, Liam Francis, Paul Hathaway, Sami Muzaffar, Harrison Nee, Silvano Obeng who have all returned for pre-season.
Adams, along with new assistant Gary Drake & Francis, will continue to run the rule over a number of potential new signings during pre-season which starts this Saturday against Newport Pagnell on the 3G pitch at Butlin Road. |
