Pre-Season Friendlies 2025

Rugby Town have released their pre-season schedule ahead of the 2025/26 season.

With Valley's NPL reprieval and another switch in the schedule, the friendly schedule has changed now with two home games scheduled and another on the Butlin Road 3G.

Valley were due to travel to Redditch United on 12 July but due to a delay in works to their new 3G pitch, we will host Tividale on the Butlin Road 3G pitch instead with a 2pm kick-off.

The home opponents will see Southern League Premier Central side Alvechurch visit Butlin Road on Saturday 19 July with a game against Leicester St Andrews following.

The pre-season campaign starts with a visit to Southern League side Stratford Town before a Thursday night trip to Walsall Wood who dropped out of the NPL Midlands last season but have reformed in the Midland Football League Division Three.

The trip to Redditch has now been moved to Saturday 26 July - admission for this game will be free for all supporters.

The first competitive game of the season is likely to be in the FA Cup Extra Preliminary Round on Saturday 2nd August 2025 although this is to be confirmed and may depend on the UCL schedule.

Admission for the home friendlies will be £5 for adults and £3 for concessions - there will be no admission charge for any Butlin Road 3G warm-up games.

Please note that although spectactors are free to come and watch the warm-up games on the 3G pitch, the bar and toilet facilities may not be open for these games.
