Message to Supporters from Grant
Rugby Town manager Grant Joshua has a message for the Valley fans who continue to support the team after a very difficult spell.
"To all Rugby Town supporters.
"This last four months has tested every one of us. As a manager, it has undoubtedly been the most difficult period of my short career so far - mentally, emotionally, and professionally.
"Results have not reflected the work being done behind the scenes, and I know how tough that has been for everyone connected with the club. I understand criticism, it’s the game we chose, it’s the reality of the game we’re in.
"Every supporter who continues to stand by this team has meant more than I can properly express. In moments when it would be easy to lose heart, your belief has kept us going. That unity is what makes this club special.
"We have five games left, and I want to make one thing absolutely clear - we will not give up. The shortterm goal is simple: stay up. Fight for every point.
"But beyond the immediate challenge, the longterm vision for Rugby Town remains unchanged. Progress isn’t always linear, and sometimes the hardest seasons become the foundations for the strongest futures.
"Thank you for sticking with us. Grant." |
