Pre-Season Friendlies 2026

Rugby Town have released their pre-season schedule ahead of the 2026/27 season.

There are two home friendlies to look forward to before the UCL Premier South season kicks off with Southern League Premier Central side Bromsgrove Sporting and NPL Midlands AFC Rushden and Diamonds making the visit to Butlin Road.

A trip to the seaside begins the pre-season schedule with an away game against UCL Premier North side Skegness Town on the first Saturday in July.

Trips to Step 6 sides AFC North Kilworth and Wolverhampton Casuals follow before another game against UCL Premier North opposition in the shape of Ashby Ivanhoe.

The league season is likely to start on Saturday 25 July with the FA Cup Extra Preliminary Round a week later.

Admission for the home friendlies will be £5 for adults and £3 for concessions - there will be no admission charge for any Butlin Road 3G warm-up games (of which there's currently none scheduled).

Please note that although spectactors are free to come and watch any warm-up games that may be scheduled on the 3G pitch, the bar and toilet facilities may not be open for these games.
