Edi re-signed for Rugby from AFC Rushden & Diamonds in July 2016 for his second spell.
Appleton originally signed for Rugby in August 2015 after a very brief stint with Stamford.
The defender was with Corby Town since January 2014 and was part of their Southern League Premier Division Championship squad of 2014/15.
Appleton left the Steelmen on the eve of the new 15/16 season to join Stamford but featured in just one game before opting to move on to join Rugby where he played just one game for Valley away to Tividale before leaving the club.
Edi previously had spells with Hinckley United, Hyde and Oadby Town.
Appleton left the club in October 2016 after knee surgery. |
