The then 24-year-old forward had only recently joined the Royals after starting the season with Southern League Premier Central clubs Stratford Town and then Barwell.
Berry, who can play out wide or through the middle, spent the previous season with Bromsgrove Sporting and also lists Rushall Olympic, Chasetown and Gresley Rovers among his former clubs.
