Niall re-joined Rugby in May 2017 on a one-year contract from Stratford Town.
The then 26-year-old goalkeeper was an ever-present for Southern League Premier side Stratford during the 2016/17 season.
After featuring throughout the season, Cooper left the club in May 2018.
Cooper originally signed as a young and highly-rated goalkeeper in 2013 who had played 20 games for The Brakes as they were promoted from the Southern League Premier having also previously also featured for Redditch and Kettering.
The stopper had a superb first season with Rugby in 2013/14, impressing with all parts of his game and in particular his shot stopping.
Niall then signed a one-year deal in May 2014 to keep him at the club until May 2015 however due to personal issues and a back injury he only featured once for Rugby in the 2014/15 season in an FA Cup tie at Chasetown.
After rejoining again in September 2015 he then left the club in October after appearing in a handful of games. |
