highly-rated midfielder
joined Rugby Town in November
2005 after being released
by fellow Southern League
Premier Division side
Grantham Town.
The
midfielder made 75 appearances
for the Gingerbreads after
joining in February 2004
and scooped both Player
of the Season awards in
2004/5. He had signed
for Grantham from Notts
County where he had made
15 first team appearances.
Missed a chunk of the
2005/6 season due to a
family illness.
Left
the club after the FA
Cup exit to Glapwell in
September 2007 but rejoined
following Rod Brown's
appointment in January
2008. However, the tough-tackling
midfielder failed to make
an impression on his new
boss and he was released
in March 2008. |
