Melvin
joined Rugby
Town in September
2010 and was
thrown straight
into the action
following
an 18-month
absence from
football through
injury.
The
experienced
centre back
was effective
with his no-nonsense
defending
in his first
season with
the club and
earnt the
Vice Presidents'
Player of
the Season
award.
An
uncompromising
player, the
defender started
his career
with Hereford
United before
moving onto
Racing Club
Warwick, Romulus
and Rushall
Olympic.
Melvin
left Rugby
in November
2011 to join
Evo-Stik League
Premier side
