Alex signed for Rugby in August 2012 after impressing during pre-season.
Alex signed as a 19-year-old and rapidly made an impact playing as a centre half having originally played as a full back in his youth career.
Gudger has brought pace and ability with the ball to the centre of Rugby's defence and collected three Player of the Season awards in his first season with the club and was made the Club Captain for the 2013/4 where he enjoyed another strong season.
Alex progressed through the youth ranks at Nuneaton Town and featured fleetingly in their first team as they won promotion to the Blue Square Premier.
After three successful seasons with Rugby, Alex left the club in May 2015. |
