Joe signed for Valley in August 2010 from Hucknall Town.

The 19-year-old striker made his debut for Rugby in the FA Cup Preliminary Qualifying Round against Atherstone Town and scored his first goal from the penalty spot in the replay.

Joe had only been with Hucknall for a short period after spending the 09/10 season with Blue Square North side Ilkeston Town.

He made five appearances for the Robins and also spent a period on loan to Shepshed Dynamo having joined Ilkeston in 2009 after coming through the youth ranks at Swansea City.

Joe failed to make an consistent impact on the first team and left to join Redditch United.
