Ross was signed by Rugby manager Billy Jeffrey from Northampton Spencer in July 2006 after impressing in training & pre-season friendlies.

The Valley management had kept a close eye on Harris during Spencer's impressive UCL Premier season where they finished third. A young right sided defender who also operated as a sweeper.

Had a bit part season with Rugby and left to join Woodford United in June 2007.
