Stuart signed for Rugby from MFL Division Two side Montpellier in December 2017.
The then 28-year-old Hendrie made a slow start with Valley but had a purple patch in front of goal towards the end of the season.
Stuart left the club in May 2018.
The forward played League football with Morecambe in 2010 after being picked up whilst playing for Atherstone.
Since then Stuart has been well-travelled with spells with the likes of Tamworth, Daventry, Redditch and Corby before a successful period with Basford United where he won promotion from the MFL Premier in 2015 scoring 28 goals.
More recently Hendrie has been playing with his brother Lee with local side Montpellier where he has scored 60 goals in the last one and a half seasons.
