Matt re-joined Rugby in June 2022 from Hinckley.

After signing a one-year contract on his return, the goalkeeper was almost ever-present as Rugby won promotion from the UCL Premier Division South and his deal was extended until May 2024.

Hill joined former team and Midland League Division One promotion candidates Hinckley on a one month's loan in November 2023 before leaving Rugby via mutual termination in January 2024.

Matt originally joined Rugby for his first spell in 2018 and the goalkeeper had an impressive couple of seasons with the club after signing from Rushall Olympic before the enforced Covid suspension in March 2020.

Matt however lost his place to new signing Sam Lomax at the start of the 2020/21 season and left to join Hinckley.

After leaving Butlin Road, Hill enjoyed a spell with Hinckley in the UCL Division One where they were eventually a whisker away from promotion to the Premier Division.

Hill graduated from the Solihull Moors youth team and has also had spells with Bolehall Swifts, Leamington, St Ives Town, Bedford Town and Rushall Olympic.
